Race Hood with Neoprene Ears

This hood is made from four way stretch elastane material for a close fit and is fastened with clips and elastic straps under the neck.
It features neoprene ears to help cut back noise.
It is now a requirement of Australian Racing that hoods used solely for the parade ring must be all RED. This indicates to the Stewards and Barrier Attendants that it must be removed prior to racing.
Colours: Black or Red
Sizing: S/M (fits 14hh-15.2hh approximately) or M/L (fits 15hh & above)

Great for young horses

I use this on my young ones when going out and about for the first time, helps then stay calmer and i much prefer the hood version than just a bonnet that can slip of and irritate them.
